On our way to Ngong Ping, we saw couple of people doing meditation. We can find Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha in Ngong Ping, so it's no wonder that we can find people of different ages and sex meditate outside the entrance of the cable car terminal.

First entry for our featured theme is the City Gate Mall, located in Tung Chung MRT station. I love this mall because of the outlet stations they have. This is where I bought my Lacoste bags and Howe's Samsonite in very low, low prices. If you're planning to go to Ngong Ping, make sure that you'll drop by to the City Gate Mall and make sure that you allot hours for shopping. :)

Four months had past but I can still remember the beauty of Hong Kong and in particular the Ngong Ping Village in Lantau Island. What I will share for the next couple of days are the magnificent views went we where on our way to Ngong Ping Village (where the Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha are located).

Enjoy!

When you are working in a call center like me, sometimes you will be placed in the graveyard shift. Your dinner will be your breakfast and your breakfast will be your dinner. So my entry for this week is one of my favorite pasta from an Italian resto.

-----

One of the things that scares me most is the possibility that I'll have a stillbirth in the future (but I'm hoping and praying that I'll never happen). Because for me all babies are angels sent by God for people to love.

Most Hazardous Job Street

Now, winning hands down for the most hazardous job street ever...selling bottled water and peanuts in a drag race.

Just kidding!

I took this shot hoping that it will look like this. You should have seen the other shots that I had before I came up with this one. LOL. I have to really hope that Kuya, the vendor will not move, so as the cars in his left and right, and so as the ride that I'm in. I was in my boyfriends Trooper when I shot all the pics for Job Street. I got the idea when I saw the heavy traffic were plunging into. I hope I had a better camera though. Pictures were grainy. So for my upcoming birthday, my material birthday wishes are: DLSR Camera (hopefully a Canon 450D), a new laptop, a PSP or a brand new acoustic guitar.

Kasoy Vendor

I really love Kasoy nuts! It's tastier than your regular average peanut. There's an after taste that you would want to last. It's a shame that it's very expensive when compared. Want to buy some?

Takatak Lolo

Another day in the street for this old man as he tried to earn himself for a living. We can call him the "takatak lolo" as to the usual Takatak Boys.

Hmmmm....

-----

My entry for this week is a just a simple fact for Litratong Pinoy...and did you know that now bus operators are using digital bus tickets. Did you know? I just recently learned...

But what if the bus conductor was over pricing and you need to return the excess ticket, what can we do something about it? Hmmmm....

Takatak Boy

This is a long shot of a "takatak vendor". Selling cigarettes and candy for people stuck in traffic.

Peanut Street Vendor

Is the vendor trying to sell his peanuts or his looking at himself in the mirror? :)

Theme of the Week: Job Street

They say that jobs on the street are one of the most tedious job in the whole world. It may be hard but it's an honest job that will put food in your family's table and who says that it's easy to earn your keep, right?

My Music, My Dreams

Ever since I was a kid, it had been my long life dream to learn how to play piano and to create music. And I believe that composers are the most creative persons in the planet for creating music that could entice, calm, and restore your soul. Then one day, after learning how to create music, I will compose one and I want it for the whole world to hear. I want it to be something that will define who I am. I want my compositions to live on forever.

You’ve got to check this site called, www.ravel-vs.com. It has so many services that’s ideal for all musician of any level. They have the best set of records that can make your piece as if it was performed by a real and complete orchestra in a smaller portion of time, effort and way a lot cheaper.

My mind is blowing because of that idea! Imagine listening to your composition as if it was played by a complete ensemble and a lot of people will hear it and somehow it will affect their lives, one way or the other is just to great! I think, I just need to do that one big leap and that is to learn how to play.

Litratong Pinoy #8: Tulay

Hehehe.

---

I'm the type of person who's afraid of heights and I always feel like I will stumble from the height where I am in. But I'm also the type of person that even though I have fears in what I do, a little amount of security could make "go" further.

These shots were taken in Macahambus Adventure Park in Cagayan De Oro last 2007. I was with my QA Family. We also went to Camiguin, sad to say, I don't have pictures with bridges from there so it doesn't qualify for this week's post. Hehehe.

Di sing mahal at di sing ganda. Pero sing love. :)

---

This is like the sister of my past entry, Litratong Pinoy #5: Bond Hearts. This came from the same set of pictures I took.

I can't help posting it again because this is my most favorite jewelry. Isn't it obvious?

Not as expensive and not as pretty. But much loved. :)

twin flowers

They look like flower twins.

Litratong Pinoy #4: Lila

Pwede ding titulo ng litrato: "cover your nose!" :)

Orange ang gusto kong kainin n'on.

Maligayng LP day sa lahat!!!

LOL)

flower arrangements

I love the formation of the flowers from this picture. As if they aligned me to take their pictures.

Picture archive from Lizzie's Birthday last year.

first ever

This is the first ever flower that he gave me. It was a single stemmed rose. It would have been cheap if he did not tell me that he grew this flower on his own. Somehow, it made a lot more meaning to me?

Sentimental? Yes or no? YES!

would have been

This picture would have been perfect, can you tell why?

Theme of the Week: Flowers

Why flowers as our theme of the week?

I've selected flowers because it's nearing valentines day and for the simple reason that I love it. When I was a little bit younger than I am now, I've always wanted to receive flowers from my young admirers but most of the time, what I received was love letters and chocolates or food. Up to now, I admit that I don't receive flowers that often. I think I can count my fingers for the number of times I got one. I even have to seek blackmail to get a dozen, red long stemmed roses from my, someone special for last year's Valentines Day.

So here are the flowers to inspire you all to give one to your loved ones this coming February.

Jump RUTHAY! Jump!

Of course, we could not let the jumping theme go by without me sharing my piece. Here I am trying to jump, to show my happines. :P

Jump Wilmer!

From jumping

So this what happens when you leave your subordinates alone...they try to JUMP! hahaha.

This is Wilmer, the most disciplined guy I've met ever when it comes to dieting and working out. I love his expression!

Litratong Pinoy #2: Asul

Maraming hirap...maraming pagtitiis...maraming sakit...maraming kaibigan... maraming alaala... Mahirap kalimutan. Mahirap iwanan.

Jump Dovi!

A very nice girl and funny too. The third jumper for the week is Dovi. She got jealous that Aimz did jump, so she did too!

Jump AIMZ!

The second jumper for the week is Aimz. She's been a very good friend since I started working in my current company, though she had been not for the past three years. Thanks Aimz for all the memories and jumps that we had together...

Jump Len!

Here's my best friend Malen as she tried to do the jump at the park near SM Mall of Asia. This is her version of Darna. The only lacking is her Darna outfit and she could pass as Anjanette Abayari because of her curly locks. hehehe.

Love yah Len!

"Ding ang bato!"

Theme of the Week: Jump!

For the week's theme, I want it to be something exciting that could pump blood in your veins. So why don't we try to have JUMP as our topic for the week.

Enjoy jumping!!!

Litratong Pinoy #1: Pula

PULA INA

Loving baga...

Mahal kita Ma!

Cassette Tree

This is the Christmas Tree that won the best recycled Christmas tree from our office for last year's (2008) competition. Christmas tree made of old cassette tapes. How creative the people from QA right?

Decor Two

Another Christmas decor from the same three as yesterday.

I think our Christmas tree at TechnioPlazaOne is the best from all the other trees in Eastwood.

Decor One

A simple decor from the Christmas tree at work. Another one tomorrow.

By the way, I have to work during Christmas day. Where's the fun in that?

lusis for big men

Check out my baby bro as this is the only firecracker/fireworks that my mom allowed him to use last New Years eve.

He's funny making jokes with himself that he's too big for lusis. I told him that it's the lusis for big men. hahaha.

Althea's Christmas

She loves gifts. She did not want monetary. She wants Barbie and every other toys.

Althea even waited for the Noche Buena to come. As agreed, if they're asleep, no gifts will be given. She's so sleepy that when you look into her eyes it's so sleep. She's really funny and cute. :)

Merry Christmas!

I want Christmas to be every day of the year, every day of the week, every hour every day.

Spread the love. Spread the cheers.

Happy holidays to all!

the sun sky from the port

Picture taken from the Batangas Port from our trip in Puerto Galera. The shot was filtered using my shades.

I love the formation of the clouds. As if they wanted to me take a picture...to share.

painting sky

This picture was taken from the back of our office building at Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City.

This is really like a hand painted sky for me. So beautiful!
