This is the first ever flower that he gave me. It was a single stemmed rose. It would have been cheap if he did not tell me that he grew this flower on his own. Somehow, it made a lot more meaning to me?
Sentimental? Yes or no? YES!
Why flowers as our theme of the week?
I've selected flowers because it's nearing valentines day and for the simple reason that I love it. When I was a little bit younger than I am now, I've always wanted to receive flowers from my young admirers but most of the time, what I received was love letters and chocolates or food. Up to now, I admit that I don't receive flowers that often. I think I can count my fingers for the number of times I got one. I even have to seek blackmail to get a dozen, red long stemmed roses from my, someone special for last year's Valentines Day.
So here are the flowers to inspire you all to give one to your loved ones this coming February.
